I graduated from Kirksville College of Cosmetology in 1983 and received my license as a stylist, esthetican and nail technician. I started working here at Green Meadows as a stylist on January 31,1987 when they first opened the doors. In 1993, I bought into the company and became the sole owner in 1995. I enjoy all aspects of the hair and spa industry, but also thoroughly enjoy the business side of operating the salon. The salon keeps me very busy as does my family. I have been married since 1989 and have two children, a son and a daughter, who are both currently in high school.

Diedra Calvin
Esthetician

I graduated from Merrell University in 2009 with over 1200 hrs. of education and training in skin therapy, massage, and nails. I thrive on providing each of my clients with relaxing spa services as well as educating them on techniques and product info. My goal is to help my clients carry their spa experience into their day to day life and encourage overall health and wellness. I enjoy spending time with my daughter Sophia and staying in good mental and physical health by doing yoga.

I graduated from Cosmetology Concepts Institute in 2006. I have been with Green Meadows Hair Co. and Spa since October 2006. Upon joining the team at Green Meadows, I went through an extensive Aveda training program. With advanced education through Aveda, I am certified in all aspects of Aveda color and am able to keep up with the latest techniques and styles. I am very passionate about my profession and especially enjoy doing Colors, Foils, Cuts, and Brow Waxing.

I was born and raised in Columbia, MO. I grew up in this industry as my mother was also a stylist, and I always knew this is what I wanted to do. I graduated from cosmetology school here in Columbia and have been a practicing cosmetologist since 2008. I have a passion for women's haircuts, styling and coloring.
